What type of exercise is more important aerobic or strength training?

It is important that you include both types of exercise in your routine. Aerobic, or cardio exercise as it is often referred to, will work on increasing your fitness levels, strengthening your heart as well as helping you burn calories.
Many women overlook strength training but it is vital for improving lean muscle levels in your body so that you actually burn more calories all the time, and it makes your bones stronger and healthier.
A varied exercise regime is best and at Reviva we will work with you design a programme suited to your specific needs.

How long will it take before I start to see some fitness improvements?

Any activity you do will impact on your body. Our bodies were designed to be active and therefore will lap up the fact you are exercising. It will depend on how active you have been in the past or are normally, as to how quickly you may see results. You will be surprised though how quickly you will notice a difference. All our members receive regular re-programming so that they constantly see progress.

Reviva clubs offer a very friendly, informal and supportive environment, which all our members love. Many ladies who are members have never been a member of a gym before or exercised at all. We welcome women of all ages, shapes, sizes and backgrounds!

How often will I need to visit?

Joining Reviva is a big step towards making positive changes in your health, however it is important that you regularly use the facilities to maximise the benefits and reach your goals easily and quickly. We recommend three times a week for optimum results. Getting results has never been easier.
